Beams
Reclaimed old beams are typically sourced from old barns and commercial buildings. Originally these beams provided the structural framework for timber frame buildings. Structural beams are available in different sizes and wood species. Typically these beams dated from the turn of the century.
Handhewn beams
Hand-hewn logs are sourced from old log homes and old log barns. They are considered hand-hewn because they were shaped to size and purpose by use of an axe. They are available in different sizes and species of wood. Typically these reclaimed hand hewn wood logs are from structures from the late 1800’s.
